For mother's day this year we went to the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle. Last year we did point defiance in Tacoma, both through the mom & me at the zoo day put on by macy's. We're sort of making it a tradition (weather pending). My Fabulous friend Krista and her family went too, and we had a GREAT day. Wild, but really fun and the kids all had a blast (until they melted down at the end of course). We had a picnic lunch in the grassy area by the slides and face painting booth's, fed the birds even.
Anyway, really really fun day, hope to keep the tradition up over the years...and hopefully the walker family will continue it too! Krista & Donny's 3 little girls are such little cuties, as you can see from the pictures. Nixon and Quincie are only 2 months apart, so they really enjoy each other..they even call and talk to one another "hi Quinie...k...love you bye." That's what the conversations usually consists of.
