My Hard Working Husband

Norm is an extremely hard worker. He has his regular, demanding, hard physical labor, lot of hours job/business, and he really excels at it (customer's make him cookies and send in thank you's....they really do!)

Then, he has his never ending work at home. We purchased our current home last winter, just as the snow storm's were hitting. We moved 3 days before Christmas, so that was a rediculous chore in itself that Norm obviously took the reigns on pretty much by himself. As soon as we moved in we painted the entire interior, within about 72 hours and had a tree up too. We knew that we would have a lot of outside work this spring/summer...but I really never imagined how much...or how time consuming it would be.

So far, we ( I help a little :> ) have built a large stone retaining wall, Installed a sprinker system, and had 5 or 6 loads of top soil hauled in. Got the top soil raked..rolled out...grass seed in the process of being planted/seeded (whatever). That was a tough job, time consuming and really, a lot of sweat. We already have one section of the yard that's already nice and green. This weekend he decided that now was as good a time as any to build a walkway from the driveway to the front porch/deck... he stared yesterday afternoon and is finishing up as I type this.

We've been toying with paint samples for the exterior and have chosen the combo, & in the next couple of weeks that should be happening too!

Point being, this post is dedicated to Norm, a very hard worker who really doesn't complain much and gets a TON of work done and Americool and at Home. Good husband & hard workin' man...sounds like a country song doesn't it?

I threw in a picture of the view off of our deck, so pretty when the sun is out!
